Jump in the Lake Challenge 2021

Update: Results of the 2021 Jump in the Lake Challenge!

We are so thrilled with the outcome of the 2021 Jump in the Lake Challenge. Our communities came together to raise just over $53,000 for the new Wellness Centre! More than 600 donations were given in honour of 39 people who braved the frigid waters of 8 different lakes and rivers in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. What a fantastic way to jump-start our $1M community fundraising project. Thank you to all who jumped into fundraising and jumped into the water!

The new Wellness Centre will provide a hub for community health in the Northern Kawartha Lakes and will include more doctors, after-hours care, physiotherapy, dental, a community meeting space, and other complementary services that will benefit both full-time and seasonal residents while preserving an important piece of our area's history by renovating and expanding the historic Train Station in Coboconk.
