The Kirkfield Lift Lock is an impressive structure that physically raises and lowers to move boats through a change in elevation on the Trent-Severn Waterway and has a number of features of interest to bridge enthusiasts. Built between 1900 and 1907, this is an amazing feat of engineering that must be seen. 

Interpretive signage around the lift lock helps to guide you.
