The visually stunning areas of Coboconk, Norland, Rosedale, and Kirkfield offer lots of intriguing natural delights and outdoor recreation.

            Visit Balsam Lake Provincial Park where you can enjoy water sports like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing. Try out The Links at Monck’s Landing in Norland for a round of golf. Boat along the Trent Severn Waterway through the amazing Kirkfield Lift Lock and charming Rosedale. Or spend a relaxing day at one of the many beaches the area offers.

            If nightlife is what you’re looking for, the famous Pattie House hosts live music and DJs regularly.

            There are fantastic restaurants and patios, and even sites of national and historical significance, like Canada’s Smallest Jail and Canada’s Fresh Water Summit at the Coboconk Wharf.

            The fact that there’s no shortage of fun or wonderful hospitality in this part of the north Kawartha Lakes is not news to any of the locals. And it’s certainly well known to returning visitors.

            The Rosedale-Coboconk-Norland area has always been a favourite destination for cottage dwellers, and while many of the community events held in the villages are an attraction, it’s the simple way of living that brings people back.
